Chapter 14 TTOC

Well, looky me. I'm back with chapter 14. I'm kind of in a hurry to finish this up now. I have another project or rather projects I'd like to get busy on. So without further ado...

Chapter 13 TTOC

Happy New Year!  And new chapter! *chuckle*

Yeah, I know, whole year later and still ain't finished? It has been an interesting year though muse wise though. My mind and stories have opened up in ways I hadn't thought of before.

Here is to a productive new year!

New story idea

I was awake in the wee hours of this Black Friday morning. I should have been exhaused as I had not slept much because of Thanksgiving preparations. I wasn't awake because I was going shopping. *eyeroll* But I had the most interesting ideas running around in my head about ways to legitmately make money. I have a full-time paycheck coming in that I am very happy and blessed to have. Still, I think that I can come up with a better more fulfilling way to earn a living. I was running some ideas around in my head when one of them lead me to a story idea and even the story title.

I'm just kind of wondering who should/will be the main protagonist and who will tell the story. How should it be told. Just kicking it around. Once I had the title, sleep came a calling.

I haven't started the 8 stories that I had hoped to have started this time last year.  Unless just thinking about them counts. *chuckle*

I thought about just jumping in and starting some of the stories that I have written up notes on but my muse was not inspired to do so...so I didn't. *eyes a couple stories' notes sitting to the side*  Still I am happy that I have started four.  Though, I'm not sure whether I'll complete one of those four as it was born out of frustration one day. *shrug*

Other than that I'm pretty optimistic with how things are going with my stories.

Chapters 11 and 12 of TTOC

Annnnnnd I'm back! *smile*

Funny, I had different plans for the escape when I originally thought up this story. I guess my muse had other plans because 11 and 12 are nothing like what I had envisioned. But with the addition of Beandi the story took a different course. I believe before it is all said and done it is going to take a lot of different courses that I never foresaw.  Like the one I'm working on now. *chuckle* But I won't ruin the surprise about what is coming next.

So without further ado, chapters 11 and 12 of TTOC.

Seven

*chuckle* I had to share this.  I've been working on another story.  Well, evidently Seven didn't like that I wasn't spending as much time on her story.  Or my muse was being contrary.  Either way I found myself typing Seven's name in the place of the main character in the other story. *chuckle* I promised her that I would work on her story after I had supper.  And I did. And I finished another chapter.  Hope to post it soon.

Hmmm...I've been gone that long, eh?

Sorry I’ve been gone for awhile. It has been a rough summer for me. I had some dental issues and they are giving my immune system a fit. *weak smile* Still through it all I am constantly thinking and sorting stories and characters. I’ve even made headway on a book that I knew I had to revamp. *chuckle* Maybe it was the pain meds that helped me out. *shrug* But it gave me some great ideas and insights into the story or stories really.


It is a series of novels. I have no idea how many yet. I thought that the one I’ve completed was book one and now realize it is book two. *chuckling* So I’ve started book one and it is coming along nicely. I’ve got close to ten thousand words written on it. Book two just needs to be revamped a bit. Heaven helped me, because I’ve gotten 31 thousand words written on book three! YIPPEEE!!!!

I finally stopped fighting my flighty muse and just follow where it leads me now. No, I haven’t forgotten about Seven. There are more chapters that I haven’t posted. They need some tightening. As my health permits I shall do so. I’m really rather tickled about the process. It is like once one story gets dry or stale one of the others picks up where it left off and I’m off on a new journey.

I guess not a moment too soon, eh? It is rather relaxing for me now. Before I struggled and tried to make it all so perfect. For whom exactly I don’t know because only a select few people have ever read anything I’ve written.

Well back to my muse. I just saw a scene open up for me.

And I'm back again...

*chuckle* Took some time to negotiate with these here IPs.  They all want a lot of money but they don't seem to want to give you a lot of service. $50/month for dial-up service that they call high speed? Seriously? I think not. Luckily, there are still plenty of competitors who want and need my money.

I could just as easily post from an internet cafe but I like the privacy of my own place and space.

Story telling, for me, is a very private thing. I guess that is why it is so difficult for me to share it. I mean, I want someone to read and actually enjoy what I've written. I just want to practice the craft in private.
